We have added Texas GOP Chair Rick Munisteri as an endorser of Rick Perry to our 2012 GOP Superdelegate List. Munisteri voiced his support in a radio interview back in August. If you listen to the last minute or two you'll hear the endorsement. Governor Perry now has 3 "Automatic Delegates" to Romney's 12 and Santorum's 1.

If you're not familiar with our Superdelegate list, we started in 2008 with the first full list of superdelegates and their endorsements. The key to our success over others is that we only accept endorsements that are direct quotes or actions by the superdelegates.

You can always see a tally of each candidates delegate count for the convention on the left sidebar. You'll notice that we are not counting the delegates from Iowa as they are unpledged do not count toward the National Convention.

We are working on information that Massachusetts committeewoman Jody Dow is supporting Mitt Romney. If you have any direct quotes from Dow or any other superdelegates voicing their endorsement please pass it along.

OT: Iowa DEMOCRATIC state delegates (0.00 / 0)

It looks like President Obama will NOT be getting 'all' the state delegates :(
Occupy organized heavily at a few of the precincts and the 'uncommitted' vote was higher this year than normal.
Below is what I've been able to find regarding the 2012 numbers, that the Iowa Democratic Party has released SO FAR

Total Iowa Democratic State Convention Delegates: 1200

So far, with 1652 of the 1774 precincts reported, (93.12% of precincts)

Obama State Convention Delegates = 1094.86
'Other' State Convention Delegates = 17.15
