Senate Outlook

Democrats have a 55-45 majority. Republicans need to gain 6 seats for a majority. At this early stage, GOP gains seem to be inevitable but the size is still in doubt.

That's what the professionals say...since I'm relatively unaffected by polls and other "data" -- my stuff is going up Sunday morning. And I just want to say that for YEARS everyone has been yelling "polls" and I kept saying that the polls were lagging indicators. My current one word answer is "Gallup" -- they're actually undertaking a project to find out why they were oh so wrong. Just saying.
