| Sadly, my day will not begin with breakfast with Morning Joe. Turns out the tickets were all sold out. But no worries! There is so much to do that it's hard to pick what to do. My day will start with the Women's Caucus. At noon, OFA is holding a blogger briefing. In 2008, there was a blogger lounge in the press area. This year, there isn't one. The press information desk explained that "you're all so mainstream now, I guess they thought you didn't need a space." it was the saddest thing I heard yesterday - even the thought that yours truly had gone mainstream. After that, I'm meeting commenter tsal, with whom I had a great conversation last night. We'll be going to the Planned Parenthood rally headlined by Cory Booker and Sandra Fluke. tsal is a delegate, and I'll have a post up about him later today. Then, a little downtime before the gavel falls at 5. I've started reading the platform, and hope to give that more time. I just love what I've read so far. |
