There have been some memorable keynote speakers at Democratic National Conventions over the last 36 years, from Barbara Jordan (the 5th best political speech of all time) the first African-American woman keynoter in '76, Mario Cuomo in '84 (#11), Ann Richards (#38) in '88, Jordan (and others) again in '92, of course Obama in 2004, and maybe tonight's keynote speaker Mayor Julian Castro of San Antonio, Texas.
